Eligible Participants who were chosen for this Pilot are currently receiving payments of $725 for twelve months (from June 2025-May 2026)!
The Family First Economic Support Pilot is funded primarily by the Sacramento County Department of Child, Family & Adult Services, Child Protection Services, through state block grant funds and facilitated by United Way California Capital Region's Guaranteed Income Program
To be eligible for this program, applicants needed to be a parent(s) or legal guardian(s) who are the primary care providers of a child ages 0-5, not already participating in a Guaranteed Income Program that reside full-time in one of the following zip codes:
- 95815
- 95821
- 95823
- 95825
- 95828
- 95838
And be under the income threshold of under 200% of the federal poverty level. For Example:
- 1 adult, 1 child: $40,880/year
- Family of 3: $51,640/year
- Family of 4: $62,400/year
